The first three restaurants have committed to Assembly Row, the future complex of stores, eateries, and apartments under construction.

The restaurants are Legal C Bar, an offshoot of Legal Sea Foods; Papagayo, a Mexican restaurant and tequila bar; and The Burger Dive, whose name just about says it all.

The announced commitments are the first since AMC Entertainment said it would open a 12-screen movie complex.

Burger Dive will also feature a "Burger Mobile" that in the coming months will rove the Boston and Somerville neighborhoods promoting the coming restaurant and handing out samples of the fare to come. (No word yet if the vehicle will be burger-shaped.)
