There's a rodent problem near Perry Park in Somerville, according to one alderwoman, and she wants it to be addressed.

Ward 2 Alderwoman Maryann Heuston is calling for the city's Strategic Planning and Community Development office to come up with "a detailed plan for addressing increased rodent activity in the neighborhood of Washington and Calvin Streets," according to an order she submitted to the aldermen.

Heuston's request will be considered by her colleagues on the Board of Aldermen in a meeting Thursday night at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
