A vigil and healing ceremony will be held at the Somerville High School concourse Thursday evening for the victims of Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.
"As many members of the Somerville community are personally affected by the tragedy, the vigil will include a ''healing ceremony,' and attendees will have the opportunity to speak and offer words of hope, love, and support," an announcement from the city said.
The event is being coordinated by the city, with the Tufts University and the Somerville Road Runners, a distance running club. It is slated to begin at 7:45 p.m. at 81 Highland Avenue. Three Tufts students were injured in the bombings.
