A movie theater under construction in the Assembly Square district and two other businesses in the area are seeking licenses to serve alcohol.

The Somerville Licensing Commission will consider requests from American Multi-Cinema, Inc. for an all forms alcoholic beverages license, a common victualler license, and and entertainment license for a 12-screen theater at 395 Artisan Way in the Assembly Row development. The theater is expected to open some time next year.

The commission also will consider requests for alcohol beverage licenses from Papagayo, a Mexican restaurant that plans to open at 331 Great River Road in Assembly Row, and Burger Dive, which is already open at 702 Assembly Square Drive.

The commission is slated to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at 167 Holland St.
