The Somerville Licensing Commission will hold a hearing next week on alleged rules violations by the Center for Arts at the Armory on Highland Avenue.

According to commission records, the Armory violated five city rules on April 20 and May 18 this year, including failing to have patrons leave in an orderly fashion, using outdoor space as a waiting area, scheduling entertainment or serving food and drink on an unscheduled date.

The hearing will give the Armory's management an opportunity to explain why the venue should not have its licenses to serve alcohol and provide entertainment revoked or suspended.

It is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, July 15 at the Tufts Administration Building on Holland Street.
