Somerville’s Zoning Board of Appeals will review plans for a proposed expansion to Flatbread Company on Day Street that would add more bowling lanes and indoor seating, and create a new outdoor patio area.

The proposal calls for the restaurant at 45 Day St. to expand into abutting 49 Day St., a building most recently used as an auto garage.

The proposed annex includes seven new bowling lanes and an outdoor patio with seating for approximately 75 people. The restaurant currently operates ten bowling lanes.

The city’s planning staff conditionally recommended approval of the proposal in July. The Zoning Board of Appeals is slated to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.
