None of Somervilles opponents have given the 4-0 Highlanders a scare.
Silver Lake jumps 12 spots from its pre-season ranking of No. 19 to No. 7. The Lakers (4-0-1) have played four away games, scoring 21 and only conceded three. Senior forward Paul Beatty is the Lakers main scoring threat.
St. Johns Prep (5-0-1) leaps to No. 4. The Eagles were impressive in a 3-1 win over Catholic Conference rival, BC High on Saturday. No. 9 Oliver Ames (5-0) has only allowed one goal in its last five games.
Formerly No. 4, Weymouth (0-2-3) drops out of the Top 20 without having won in its first five games. The Warriors play No. 2 Needham on Tuesday.
No. 4 Dartmouth drops to No. 12, having lost to Brockton and New Bedford. Brockton (4-2) is on the cusp of breaking into the Top 20. The Boxers only losses came on the road against No. 1 Somerville and No. 8 BC High.
