The Boston Licensing Board recently announced the approval of licenses for two South Boston establishments.

The Seaport Convince and Liquor Store received approval Thursday for an alcoholic beverages license.

The store located at 369 Congress St. in the Seaport District of South Boston will be approximately 1,500 square feet. Along with selling beer, wine, and hard alcohol, it will sell groceries.

Dawa S. Lama. the manager of the store, told the board on Tuesday that he plans to open five months after the license is granted because of renovations.

Lama has also agreed to not sell single-serve hard alcohol shooters.

The store will be open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Assad and Adel Haman also receive a license for their restaurant, Alfredo’s Italian Kitchen.

The approximately 700-square-foot restaurant, located at 243 Dorchester St., is currently open seven days a week from 10 a.m. – midnight and is take out only.
