Community meeting about Tasty Burger set for Thursday

Neighbors in South Boston will come together Thursday to discuss the new Tasty Burger restaurant slated to open on L Street.

The meeting will be held at the restaurant’s location on L and East 4th Streets at 6:30 p.m.

Those with questions, compliments, or concerns are encouraged to attend.

The new burger joint, which is owned by the Franklin Group, who also manages the Franklin Café Southie at 152 Dorchester Ave. will be "walk-up" and not a sit-down restaurant.

"Outstanding fresh ingredients are cooked to order in an incredibly fun, laid back atmosphere that has made ‘Tasty’ an instant classic,'' the company says on its website.
