Boston youths take part in Tedy Bruschi Kids Football Clinic

Local youths got a taste of what it’s like to play in the big time after they took part in the SBLI Tedy Bruschi Kids Football Clinic at Gillette Stadium.

Fifty-four boys and girls from South Boston, Dorchester, Mattapan, and Allston joined former Patriots star Tedy Bruschi June 20 for the clinic and were selected based on essays they wrote.

The mini-clinic include a personalize locker for the young players, an official Bruschi Patriots jersey, and a chance to take part in drills with some NFL players, including Zoltan Mesko, Jerod Mayo, Brian Hoyer, and former Pats Christian Fauria, Sammy Morris, and Ray Ventrone.
