South Boston to celebrate its Italian pride Wednesday with concert

South Boston will be breaking out the red, green and white Wednesday as the neighborhood celebrates its Italian residents at Medal of Honor Park.

With a concert featuring tunes composed by none other than Frank Sinatra, Michael Dutra and the Strictly Sinatra Band will perform for residents from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Aug. 22.

The free concert, which is sponsored by the city, will include children activities and is free.
