South Boston merchants welcomed residents to East Broadway on Saturday for the annual South Boston Street Festival.
Complete with food vendors, artists, local shops and organizations the festival gave newcomers, tourists, and locals a chance to sample everything South Boston has to offer.
Put on by the South Boston Chamber of Commerce and in its 13th year, the afternoon festival hosted such groups as Southie Trees, South Boston’s very own tree advocacy non-profit, and restaurants like East Broadway’s newest addition, The Paramount.
In the end more than a hundred vendors and groups turned out to show off their stuff and catch up with neighbors and customers.
