South Boston Seaport celebrates Halloween on the Harbor Oct. 26
(Halloween on the Harbor)
At the 2011 Halloween on the Harbor, participants began their night at TAMO bar at the Seaport Hotel.
Halloween isn’t just for children, at least not along the South Boston Seaport and Fort Point Channel, where a variety of waterfront restaurants and bars will offer special treats and prizes as part of the third annual Halloween on the Harbor.
For the price of a $5 ticket, revelers 21 and older can travel by duck boat between the 13 participating locations and sample such fare as the Spooktacular Smothered Nachos($11 at Jerry Remy’s Seaport), a basket of Crispy Bat Wings (actually chicken wings, $9 at TAMO at the Seaport Hotel), or a Salem Charm cocktail ($6.66 at Capiz at the Renaissance Boston Hotel).
Participants can collect passport stamps at each stop along the way, and each venue will award a prize to the person present who has the most stamps at night’s end. Several venues will also award prizes for best costume.
Participating restaurants include the Atlantic Beer Garden, the Barking Crab, Barlow’s, Capiz at the Renaissance Boston, the Daily Catch, Jerry Remy’s Seaport, Legal Test Kitchen, the TAMO bar at the Seaport Hotel, the Whiskey Priest, Strega Waterfront, M.J. O’Connor’s, City Bar, and Temazcal.
Halloween on the Harbor will take place from 7 – 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. Participants must be 21 or older. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Friends of the Fort Point Channel.
