Boston Children’s Hospital benefit set for Saturday

Supporters of Boston Children’s Hospital will hold benefit Saturday to raise money for the medical non-profit.

The second-annual "South Boston Benefit for Children’s Hospital" will be held at the Stadium Bar & Grill on Old Colony Avenue.

A DJ will be play tunes and comedian by Steve Sweeney, who appeared in the hit movie “There’s Something About Mary,” will perform. Appetizers and cocktails will be served.

All funds raised will go to benefit the hospital’s Child Life Services Department, which works to enhance patients’ motional, social, and cognitive growth.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and is expected to run until 10 p.m.
