South Boston to light Medal of Honor Park tree Tuesday night

Medal of Honor Park in South Boston will be full of lights Tuesday as the neighborhood holds the Fifth Annual City Point Holiday Celebration and lights up its tree.

The festive event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the East Broadway park and includes hot chocolate, live music, and baked goods.

The City Point Neighborhood Association will also be collection donations of nonperishable food, unwrapped toys, and winter clothing for the neighborhood’s less-fortunate.
