The proprietors of the Island Creek Oyster Bar, located in the Kenmore neighborhood, have set their sights on South Boston’s Fort Point for their next culinary creation.

Dubbed Row 34 and set to inhabit the space at 381 Congress St., the new eatery would concentrate on what restaurateurs Skip Bennett, Jeremy Sewall, and Garrett Harker do best: seafood.

Representatives for the new restaurant will be before the community next week to pitch their plans and discuss with residents the impacts and benefits of the new establishment to the neighborhood.

The meeting will be held at Factory 63 at 63 Melcher St. Monday, June 10, starting at 6:30 p.m.

“Island Creek Oyster Bar was inspired by the majesty of Duxbury Bay,” Harker told Food and Wine in March. “Row 34 is a workingman’s expression of the oyster farm.”

The new space, expected to open in the fall of 2013, will feature simple dishes in a rustic setting, the article said.
