A forum for the District 2 City Council race is scheduled for Monday, October 28.

The event is expected to feature both the current sitting councilor, Bill Linehan, a South Boston resident, and his challenger, Suzanne Lee, a Chinatown resident.

Set to run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., the forum will be held at the Lithuanian Club located at 368 West Broadway and will be moderated by Michael Dowling, artistic director for Medicine Wheel Productions and president of the South Boston Association of Non-Profits.

District 2 includes South Boston, in addition to portions of the South End, the Back Bay, and Chinatown.

Suzanne Lee, a former principal, challenged Linehan for his seat in 2011 and lost by close to 100 votes.

The municipal election is November 5. More information about voting in Boston can be found here.
