Curbed Boston, a Cambridge-based real estate blog, recently announced that the South End was chosen as “Boston’s Neighborhood of the Year” on its online poll.
More than 500 readers voted on the website’s poll through the month of December, which put Boston neighborhoods, along with Somerville and Cambridge, head-to-head to see what neighborhood readers found the most desirable.
In the end it came down to a battle between the South End and Cambridge with the South End pulling more than 63 percent of the vote.
