Police arrested a 19-year-old female Boston resident and charged her with graffiti vandalism in the South End.

Around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers from the Area D-4 police station on patrol along Huntington Avenue observed a white female in the process of tagging a mailbox.

After a search of the suspect, officers said, they recovered two cans of spray paint along with stencils and markers. A notebook was also recovered that included the words "Go Bombing," an apparent reference to graffiti, police said.

Police did not identify the suspect.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, offenders can face fines, probation and possibly jail time depending on the size, nature, and cost of the clean-up.
