Trick or treat Halloween stroll this Saturday 26

The following was submitted by the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce: 

Batman & Robin, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, zombies and mummies will invade Stoneham businesses this weekend as the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Stoneham TV and the Stoneham Historical Commission host the 4th Annual Halloween Trick or Treat Stroll on Saturday, October 26 from 2 to 4 PM.Costumed youngsters, accompanied by adults, can trick or treat in and around Stoneham businesses, and participate in fun activities at the Old Burying Ground and at Stoneham TV.

Businesses continue to sign on to provide treats for youngsters and now include Amore Pizza, Bacci’s Restaurant, Body Mind Systems, Book Oasis, Children’s Dental Care, Curtain Time, Doucet Remodeling & Design, Dress Barn (@ Redstone),Game Stop (@Redstone), Helaine Marie, Helaine Marie, Honey Dew Donuts, J&B Butcher, Lenscrafter’s (@ Redstone), Liberty Bay Credit Union (@ Redstone), Liberty Bell Roast Beef & Seafood, Mr. Glenn’s  Barber Shop, McDonough’s,Nicole’s Hair Salon & Day Spa, Oro Salon & Spa, Rounds Hardware, Salon Maral, Spartan Ace Hardware, Stoneham Fire Department, Stoneham TV, Stoneham Theatre, Stop & Shop, Supercuts (@ Redstone), Super Soapbox Laundromat, Yoguee Frozen Yogurt, with more still to come. Businesses will display a sign in their front windows indicating that they are participating as a stop on the Stroll. 

The Chamber plans to includeall businesses situated in and around Main Street, even if they aren’t located near the Square. This is a fun opportunity for the kids and adults to walk along Main Street and see what’s behind the front doors of businesses and for the business owners to meet Stoneham residents.

Amy Palmerino has been overseeing the planning for the activities at Stoneham TV, 53 Central Street (and just one block from Main  Street) where children and adults can decorate pumpkins, play games and have an opportunity to be video recorded saying ‘You’re watching Stoneham TV” for later broadcast.
