Waltham Historic Days: Charles River Fun

The Charles River was the scene of many activities in the early days of the City. Canoeing and canoe racing was a popular sport in the early 20th century. With more than one boat house on the river, quite often the scene was that of a very thick flotilla of canoes and row boats.
