The Girl Scouts who sold the most cookies in eastern Massachusetts last year gathered in Waltham Monday to unload 60,000 boxes of Thin Mints, Caramel deLights, and other varieties as they arrived fresh from the bakery.
The boxes will be held in the storage room until they go on sale Dec. 13, according to Ruth Branson, CEO of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. After that date, she said they will be available all over Waltham and will be sold door-to-door as well as in supermarkets, churches, and other places throughout the city.
Branson said there will be a cookie tracker on www.hergirlscouts.org, where selling locations will be searchable based on zip code.
Below are some pictures from the cookie transfer.

Joslin Pettingell, 13, carries boxes to her cart.
