Commonwealth Financial Network employees to deliver caps to cancer patients

A group of Commonwealth Financial Network employees will go to Dana-Farber Wednesday to donate a basket of some 200 caps to be worn by cancer patients. The Waltham-based company has a knitters club that makes the caps. The number of knitters in the club has doubled in the last year and they meet weekly to knit hats, teach beginners, and share new tips on creating fun caps that the children are excited to wear, in light of the challenges they face, according to Commonwealth spokeswoman Emily Guadagnoli
