Over 400 guests attended the Eli J Segal Citizen Leadership Lecture at Brandeis University Wednesday featuring Melody Barnes, domestic policy adviser to President Obama.

Barnes spoke about civic leadership and public service in honor of her mentor, the late Eli J. Segal, a top aide in the Clinton presidential campaign and administration whose dedication to citizen service was key to legislation that created AmeriCorps and the Welfare to Work Partnership.
