Mount Auburn Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard University, announced this week that it will host an open house for its Waltham location, called Mount Auburn Healthcare at Waltham, in late April.

The 28,000 square foot facility leased by hospital stands at the former Yolanda’s Bridal Salon site on Waverley Oaks Road.

Mount Auburn Healthcare at Waltham will be offering services in primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, midwifery, geriatric services, and weight management.

The new facility also includes a laboratory collection site and radiology services.

Departments that were moved to the new facility are now open and accepting patients.

“We are pleased and excited to bring top quality medical services to the Waltham area,” said Jeanette Clough, Mount Auburn Hospital president and CEO. “This new center will allow us to increase the availability of primary care physicians in the community and allow for the growth of some of our key practices, including our bariatric and OB/GYN services.”

Duffy Brothers Construction built the facility and GRLA was the architect. SBRA handled the interior work and HDS Architecture oversaw all tenant fit-up.

An open house and tours are planned for members of the community on Friday, April 20 from noon until 3 p.m.

Free parking is available in the adjacent lot and the location is also convenient to public transportation.
