Waltham resident Mareshia Donald's photo, titled "Clowning Around!", won a photography contest this month that saw over 100 submissions.

A Waltham resident was declared a winner of a photography contest this month hosted by Cambridge Savings Bank that saw over 100 submissions.

Mareshia Donald of Waltham was selected as a finalist in the contest for her photo "Clowning Around!", receiving a gift certificate and framed print of her submission from Hunt’s Photo and Video, a New England-based photography retailer.

The contest, called "Your Inspired Moments," judged 119 original pictures of places, people and images that inspired the photographers.

More than 2,000 people voted via the bank's Facebook page, according to the company. Voters were encouraged to consider originality and creativity of entries, emotion conveyed by the images, overall composition, and the “Your Inspired Moments” theme.

All photographers who entered the contest were honored at a reception at the bank's Harvard Square location.
