The Main Street Marketplace at 1030 Main St. in Waltham now hosts three fast-food chains -- Panera, Chipotle and Five Guys -- all of which will open their doors this fall.

The three highly-anticipated fast food chains in Waltham's Main Street Marketplace plaza are slowly but surely opening this fall.

The new Five Guys Burgers and Fries is slated to open its doors early next week, on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the management's website. Representatives from the company could not be reached.

The burger restuarant's announcement comes after Chipotle Mexican Grill, also located in the plaza, opened in late September, employees said.

The Panera Bread in the same shopping center is also scheduled to open in late October or early November, according to company representatives.

Panera previously hoped to include a drive-through in its initial plans, but city officials recommended dropping the plans, which the company did.

The Main Street Marketplace formerly hosted a Ford car dealership for over three decades before it closed down. Property owners started building about 10 new storefronts at the beginning of 2012. Other stores in the plaza include iParty, Massage Envy, Aspen Dental, Doctors Express, and Supercuts.
