Blanco will read poems and prose for the first time from his new book For All of Us, One Today: An Inaugural Poet's Journey. Blanco's poem "One Today" was recited at the second inaugural of President Barack Obama.

The reading takes place at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Brandeis University admissions center, located at 415 South St. in Waltham.

Blanco will sign copies of his books, which will be available for sale, after the reading.

The event is free and open to all, but space is limited. Parking will be available in the theater parking lot.
