A Brighton photographer's work will appear on display at the Watertown Free Public Library for the month of August, portraying scenes from the Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Clement Liu describes himself as a self-educated photographer. On the library website Liu offers the following perspective on his work.

"As I stroll the grounds of Mount Auburn Cemetery, I feast upon Mother Nature's splendor through the seasons, rekindle memories of my loved ones gone but not forgotten, and reflect upon life and afterlife.

My photographs, I hope, can convey what my eyes observed and where my mind took me."

A reception for the exhibit will take place Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.
