A man stole $1,000 worth of bras from the Victoria's Secret in Watertown's Arsenal Mall last month, Watertown Police spokesman Lt. Michael Lawn said.

A store employee reported that on July 23 at around 5:30 p.m., a man grabbed 20 bras valued at $50 each and left the store without paying. He was last seen fleeing the mall in a white SUV, Lawn said.

The man is described as 35 to 40 years old with a muscular build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, white hat, and blue jean shorts at the time.

According to the popular lingerie company's website, the store sells brassieres with values of up to $98.
