The Watertown Health Department is offering influenza vaccinations this fall, starting next week.

Attendees must bring their health insurance card or Medicare card for billing purposes where applicable. However, the vaccine is still available if a resident does not have insurance.

Anyone getting a shot should also wear loose clothing with sleeves that can easily be rolled up to receive a vaccination.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to give consent for the child to receive a vaccine.

The flu shot schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 25, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., Senior Center at 31 Marshall St., for residents ages 55 and over
  • Tuesday, Oct. 2, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., 55 Waverly Ave., ages 18 and over
  • Thursday, Oct. 18, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Watertown Public Library at 123 Main St., ages 6 months and over
  • Thursday, Oct. 25, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., Senior Center at 31 Marshall St., for residents ages 55 and over
  • Thursday, Nov. 1, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Town Hall's Lower Hearing Room at 149 Main St., ages 6 months and over
