Trick-or-treaters enjoy their candy hauls at Watertown's Arsenal Mall at a previous mall-wide Halloween event.
Watertown's Arsenal Mall will host a mall-wide trick-or-treating event next week on Halloween, with event proceeds being donated to charity.
The event, which takes place Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., will also feature a pumpkin contest, spooky story readings by Watertown Public Library workers, and arts and crafts. Stores participating in the trick-or-treating will hang up a sign in their windows.
The top five spookiest costumes will receive $10 gift cards to Pizzeria Regina. Additionally, Pizzeria Regina will provide a complimentary slice of pizza for the first 50 children dressed in their Halloween costumes.
Chipotle will also offer a burrito bowl, salad, or an order of tacos for $2 from 4 p.m. until they close.
The Halloween event costs $1 to participate, with all proceeds going to the Simon Youth Foundation, which seeks to foster and improve educational opportunities. The Arsenal Mall is located at 485 Arsenal St. in Watertown.
