Mount Auburn Hospital’s Auxiliary will present their ninth annual tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. in the hospital's Stanton Lobby, according to event organizers.

Guests are invited to attend the evening and purchase commemorative lights for $10 each, which will be lit in honor and memory of loved ones. The funds raised from each light will go toward improving the services that Mount Auburn Hospital provides, organizers said.

The evening will feature remarks by the group's president, Donna Smerlas, and Mount Auburn Hospital president and CEO Jeanette Clough. There will also be musical performances by the Belmont High School Madrigal Singers and the Waltham High School Guitar Ensemble. Mount Auburn Hospital's director of pastoral care, Reverend Beth Loomis, will deliver the evening’s annual invocation.

Refreshments will also be provided.

To make a donation or to RSVP, please contact Jan Ankerson at 617-499-5016 or by email at jankerso@mah.harvard.edu. More information can also be found online at www.mountauburnhospital.org.

Mount Auburn Hospital is located at 330 Mount Auburn St. in Cambridge.
