Watertown municipal election for councilors, School Committee

Watertown voters head to the polls today to cast ballots in the citywide municipal election, which features competition between incumbents and newcomers for Town Council President, the at-large Town Council seats, and the School Committee.

Polls are open in Watertown from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voters will choose candidates for Watertown Town Council, School Committee, and Library Trustee Board.

The list of candidates is as follows:

Town Council President:

  • Mark Sideris (incumbent)
  • Clyde Younger

Council-At-Large (four seats available):

  • John Donahue (incumbent)
  • Stephen Corbett (incumbent)
  • Susan Falkoff (incumbent)
  • Anthony Palomba (incumbent)
  • Michael Dattoli
  • Aaron Dushku
  • Paul Fahey
  • Colin Wehrung

District A Councilor:

  • Angeline Kounelis (incumbent)

District B Councilor:

  • Cecilia Lenk (incumbent)

District C Councilor:

  • Vincent Piccirilli, Jr. (incumbent)

District D Councilor:

  • Kenneth Woodland (incumbent)

School Committee (three seats available):

  • John Portz (incumbent)
  • Guido Guidotti
  • David Stokes
  • Elizabeth Yusem
  • Dmitry Lev
  • Andrew Swan

Library Trustee Board (three seats available):

  • Raya Stern (incumbent)
  • Gracemarie LeBlanc (incumbent)
  • Carol Tierney
