Wellesley’s Pax Anthos, a freshman midfielder on the men’s lacrosse team at Hamilton College, was named Rookie of the Year in the Liberty League.

A Loomis-Chaffee School graduate, Anthos was a two-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week. He was third on the team with 15 goals, and second with 5 man-up goals. He also had 5 assists to help the Continentals finish 11-3 overall (3-3 conference), the most wins for the program since 2006.

‘‘Pax was our leading scorer in the midfield,’’ said coach Scott Barnard. ‘‘He has a great work ethic, always spending extra time shooting and making himself a better lacrosse player.’’
