Wellesley police investigating two house breaks
By Globe Staff
Wellesley police say they are investigating two break-ins that took place at houses this week. The residents were not at home in either case.
The first one occurred in the Curve Street/Weston Road area. Forced entry was made into the home, but nothing was removed or stolen from the house, police said in a statement.
The second break-in occurred in a 12-hour period during the day or early evening on Wednesday in the Glen Road and Washington Street area. A suspect forced entry into a home and removed some items.
Detectives from the Wellesley Police Department's Bureau of Criminal Investigation are working on both cases.
Police are asking residents to be alert for their own home, and their neighbor's home, especially during the day. Report suspicious activity to the Wellesley Police Department by either calling 911 or 781-235-1212.
