Wellesley Police ask residents to put politics aside, remove lawn signs

Wellesley Police are reminding residents to "vote for Hurricane Sandy" and take down political lawn signs - which Sandy will turn into projectiles - until after the storm has passed.

The police have noticed a lot of lawn signs on front yards, and those signs can cause significant damage if the wind takes them. If you think politics is a bloodsport now, imagine getting knocked out by a flying wooden sign.
