Wellesley has launched a survey to collect ideas and suggestions from residents about the community pool facility planned for 900 Worcester Street.

The survey, available here, asks residents what features are important to them in a pool. It’s designed to gauge the level of public interest and support for various features.

Questions touch on pool temperature, depth and possible uses, other exercise equipment, locker rooms, community meeting rooms, as well as whether there should be one single pool or multiple pools.

The town voted this summer to purchase for $3.8 million the 8-acre parcel at 900 Worcester Street, currently the site of St. James the Great Church, to build a community recreation center including a pool, skating rink and playing field.

You can respond to this survey online or by returning the paper survey which will come with your next electric bill to Wellesley Recreation, 90 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02481. You can also fax it to 781-237-3558.
