Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston is holding its second annual Tree of Lights ceremony and reception on today to give families who have lost a loved one a chance to come together during the holiday season.

Members of the metro west and greater Boston area are invited to sponsor a light in memory or in honor of a loved one, with donations going to support the mission of the hospice.

The tree-lighting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at 70 Walnut St. in Wellesley. There will be a reception following the ceremony, and for those still working through their grief, a Coping with the Holidays workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

To attend the workshop, RSVP at 978-774-5100.

For information on how to honor someone through the Tree of Lights, call 978-223-9787.
