The President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America will speak at Wellesley College on Tuesday night in a presentation called “Women, Sex and Health Care: Hope for the 21st Century.”

President Cecile Richards will discuss how advances in and access to reproductive health care have opened up opportunities for women, and she will talk about the domestic policy, political climate and global context of her work, according to a release about the event.

Since 2006, Richards has expanded Planned Parenthood’s advocacy for access to health care, both in America and globally, according to the release. She will be joined by Martha Walz, who will join Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts as President and CEO in early March.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Diana Chapman Walsh Alumnae Hall Auditorium at 106 Central Street.
