Dr. Min Keun Song has been named the new medical director for the Health Center at NorthHill, the Needham senior living community announced on Tuesday.

Song, a resident of Newton, is board-certified in internal and geriatric medicine. In addition to his office in Milton and Randolph, Song will operate a primary care practice for North Hill residents, according to a press release.

He completed post-graduate training at Harvard in 2008, and is a member of the Gerontology Division and the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, both at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Song's hiring comes as part of Project True North, a North Hill initiative that includes the construction of a small-house style health center and the launch of a new enhanced living community.

“As North Hill works to expand our continuum of care, Dr. Song will be a great resource,” said Adam Goldman, health center administrator. “His presence as an attending physician at the Health Center and a primary care physician for North Hill residents will allow for a strong continuity of care.”
