An employee of Wellesley's Fiske Elementary School was arrested for allegedly driving drunk -- his third time doing so -- over the weekend, authorities said.
Lawrence C. Fogerty, a Wellesley resident, was pulled over by Wellesley police near 443 Worcester Rd. Friday night, according to police reports. Police arrested Fogerty and charged him with driving under the influence, which was his third DUI offense.
Fogerty was released over the weekend on $500 cash bail. He was arraigned Monday at Dedham District Court, where he plead not guilty, said David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk District Attorney's office.
Fogerty listed in booking documents that he is a custodian at Schofield Elementary School, Traub said.
However, Wellesley superintendent David Lussier said that Fogerty works at Fiske Elementary.
Lussier said he could not comment on personnel matters, such as Fogerty's status as an employee after the arrests.
