Saturday hours return to Boston neighborhood library branches on Sept. 8; Sunday hours resume at Central Library on Oct. 14

Saturday hours will make their yearly, post-summer return to Boston’s neighborhood library branches on Sept. 8, while Sunday hours will return to the Central Library in Copley Square on Oct. 14.

Saturday hours at neighborhood branches vary at each location, but Boston Public Library officials said they are typically from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; or from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Central Library will be open 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, from October through May, with the following exceptions for Sundays preceding Monday holidays:
