The Highland Meadows Weston community has received a Merit Award in the Builder's Choice Design and Planning Awards, according to a community press release.
The award was announced on October 11 in Washington D.C. by the National Association of Homebuilders, which is featuring Highland Meadows Weston in the current issue of its magazine, BUILDER, and on its website, www.builderonline.com.
According to the press release, the awards are "highly competitive," with nearly 400 entrants vying for the approval and recognition of their peers. Fewer than one in ten receives an award. BUILDER editor in chief, Denise Dersin, wrote that the winners are "models of proportion, in harmony with their surroundings, well constructed, display an honest use of materials, and show evidence of original thinking in their design. They are also endowed with some intangibles--a perception of beauty, serenity, and elegance...It's the details that matter."
Highland Meadows Weston, managed by Highland Real Estate Development, LLC, was designed specifically for active adults seeking to downsize to a low-maintenance home without sacrificing the luxury or traditional New England beauty, the press release states.
"We are honored and extremely please," said Vice President of Development Mark Romanowicz. "It is especially gratifying to receive recognition from our peers. We had a vision, we executed it, and it’s great to have our fellow professionals tell us we did it well.”
Romanowicz went on to cite the creativity, hard work and commitment to excellence of the entire development team, which included CBT Architects, Boston MA; Duckham Architecture & Interiors, Brookline, MA; Dann Norris Batting Architect, Chester, NH; Sasaki Associates, Watertown, MA; Design East Interiors, North Hampton, NH; and Hawk Design, Sagamore, MA.
Highland Meadows Weston includes 69 single-family and carriage homes on 44 acres. It's official address is 27 Pine Summit Circle, Weston.
