More than half of Weston still without power
More than half of NSTAR's customers in Weston are still without power Tuesday, according to NSTAR's outage map.
According to the map, 51 percent of Weston customers are currently without power, totaling 2,185 customers. The fire department said it is continuing to respond to numerous reports of fallen trees and power lines.
The town website announced Tuesday that the trees and lines are blocking more than 20 roads in town, and that other passable roads also have debris and wires in the road. The town cautioned drivers to be cautious and patient.
Weston Public Schools were still closed Tuesday, while the town offices and public library are open. And though the library’s catalog system is down, it does have Internet.
Weston residents should call NSTAR at 800-592-2000 to report power outages. For a list of other important numbers, click here.
