Independent bookshops in the suburbs

The bookstores in the western suburbs are abundant. Take a tour. The Brookline Booksmith just celebrated its 50th anniversary. It also announced it was teaming up with The Globe Corner Bookstore, which closed its doors in Cambridge, to help build a new wall map department.
