Returned from deployment to Iraq
►Army Specialist Nicholas J. Marinelli, a Black Hawk crew chief and mechanic with Company C, 3d Battalion, 126th Aviation, of South Burlington, Vt. He is a resident of Brockton and a 2007 graduate of Brockton High School.
Deployed to Afghanistan
►Marine Corporal Stephen R. Tobin, an air rescue-firefighter with wing support squadron 317 of Yuma, Ariz. This is Tobin’s second deployment to Afghanistan. He is the son of Stephen Tobin of Maine and Mary O’Connel of Florida, grandson of Don and Marge Tobin of Bridgewater, and a 2007 graduate of North Quincy High School.

From basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio
►Airman Caileigh B. Quinn, daughter of Mary Quinn of Plymouth, and a 2010 graduate of Plymouth North High School.
From basic training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
►Army Private 1st Class Persephone J. Merritt, daughter of Mary Merritt of Norwell, and a 2008 graduate of Norwell High School.
►Army Private Kyle J. McElroy, son of Shawna McElroy of Virginia and the nephew of Brian Frederick of Duxbury. The private is a 2011 graduate of Duxbury High School.
