Shop to support

Residents are invited to a shopping event to support Campus of Caring, a nonprofit group building a hospice home that will be managed by the Norwell Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Inc. More than 20 vendors and artisans will participate in “Show You Care by Shopping Night’’ at the Scituate Country Club Nov. 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. There will also be snacks, a cash bar, and raffle tickets - with a grand prize of $5,000 cash - for a drawing that will take place April 28 at Campus of Caring’s third annual dinner and auction gala at the Marriott Hotel in Quincy. Campus of Caring is dedicated to building a hospice home on the South Shore to serve people in need of specialized care for life-limiting illnesses. - Meg Murphy
