A Marblehead woman has been sentenced to up to five years in prison for stealing more than $500,000 from the plumbing company she worked for as a bookkeeper. Kimberlee Mastronardi, a mother of three, was also sentenced Monday in Salem Superior Court to five years of probation and ordered to pay restitution. Mastronardi, 52, pleaded guilty Jan. 7 to four counts of larceny over $250 and one count of falsifying corporate books. Prosecutors say between 2004 and 2009 she embezzled the money from Bartlett and Steadman Plumbing by altering her timecards to boost her pay and her 401(k). (AP)
