COHASSET
LATIN RETURNS — Julius Caesar’s famous phrase, “Veni, vidi, vici’’ — “I came, I saw, I conquered’’ — will once again be spoken in classrooms at Cohasset High School. Administrators have found a Latin teacher to replace a longtime instructor who left a year ago. The vacancy had depleted classical language instruction; the sole offering was an online-only virtual high school course. This fall, Theresa Raymond, who has taught Latin in Scituate, will take over a half-time position in Cohasset. Raymond has taught Latin for more than 20 years.— Christine Legere
